Enhancements in the Fault Management System
The following enhancements are introduced in Fault Management System (FMS):
| • | If FMS reboots, the active alarms in the Interface, PSU, FAN, and Neighborship alarms of ISIS, BGP, and LDP are preserved, and all other active alarms from the previous session are closed. |

ISIS_OPR_INTF: Indicates maximum number of circuit IDs exhaustion.

Integrating Syslog with SNMP Monitoring
To enhance network visibility and consolidate monitoring workflows, OcNOS introduces support for sending Syslog messages as SNMP trap notifications, as defined by RFC 5676. This feature allows an SNMP-based network management system (NMS) to ingest syslog events natively. By bridging these two protocols, operators can leverage their current SNMP infrastructure to monitor system logs, removing the requirement for a standalone syslog server.

Two Step PTP Sync Packets
A new command twostep-ptp-fifo-timestamp has been introduced to enable FIFO-based mechanism for storing and retrieving timestamps, ensuring efficient management of PTP timing information at the global level. The sync packet will carry a CorrectionField value of 0.
